Kew Gardens wedding videographer
Wedding videographer in London for Charlotte and Adam.
Filming at Kew Gardens for this beautiful wedding was a real highlight. Not least because I was working with wedding planner extraordinaire, Louise Perry. She and her business partner Natalie are always a pleasure to work with and I can be safe in the knowledge the day will go without a hitch!
Charlotte and Adam married in the Nash Conservatory, followed by drinks reception in The Prince of Wales Conservatory and dining and evening celebrations in the The Orangery.
The day started at Syon Park Hotel where Charlotte was prepping for the day with her bridesmaids and Mum. The atmosphere was electric and full of laughter – it was such a pleasure to capture these lovely ladies getting ready. When Charlotte got into her Sassi Holford gown, it was a real wow moment. As you can see from her brother's reaction!
It was then over to Kew Gardens to capture the guests arriving and the stunning ceremony set up. Lisa Jayne Lawrence of Blooms and Bows flowers did such an incredible job.
The sky was rather moody on the other side of the glass, but when Charlotte and Adam said ‘I Do’, the sun came out - what a great moment!
The drinks reception that followed was different from any other I’ve seen before or since – being amongst the flora of the tropical conservatory was extraordinary and a real talking point for the guests. It was during this time that Kew held tours for the guests, who went off on a little train to explore the grounds. Brilliant.
Later, everyone moved through to dine in The Orangery. This (usually public) space had been transformed beautifully by Couvert Hire and held real impact for everyone as they walked in. Delicious food, flowing drinks and great music from The Tricks followed, to complete what was a magical day, perfectly.
I was working with the lovely and supremely talented photographer, Sophie Duckworth who was a joy to shadow during Adam and Charlotte's ‘Mr & Mrs shoot’ (couple portraits) and even though we were short on time, Sophie set up some beautiful shots in the early-summer light.
Adam and Charlotte were such a fun couple and so relaxed, which made for some really special footage. I’m so happy they loved their final film too:
“Well, that just brought me to tears again...so amazing! Thank you so much Jess, we absolutely love it and captures our day so well. So much love and laughter. We both want to thank you so much for being such a lovely part of the day and for creating this epic keep sake for us.”
